Functional Space for Communications of all Types

United Technologies is a truly global corporation. Its products vary from aircraft engines to air conditioners. Excellent communications, therefore, is not a luxury, but a necessity.
United Technologies Headquarters in downtown Hartford, Connecticut houses the world-class conference room on the 22nd floor. The room is used for general meeting presentations, training and continuing education utilizing video and audio conferencing.
On the conference side, there is a dual display rear projection system that supports high resolution computer and video images. The lectern is situated next to a presenters equipment rack built into the front wall for easy access to presentation materials. A wireless LCD touch screen supports the full control capabilities of the room simplifying the overall operation allowing the presenter to focus on the message being communicated. And since the culture of UTC is engineering driven, the room allows for the connectivity of up to six laptops simultaneously.
The system is enhanced with the ability to communicate using the latest videoconferencing technology from their site to single site or engage with the connectivity of multiple sites utilizing the internal video bridging capabilities. A main camera serves the audience view with a rear camera providing the lectern view. Audio conferencing is also supported throughout the space including an advanced voice reinforcement technology improving audio quality.
