CPG company leverages VisionPoint designed room to develop products

Packaging is one of the pillars of marketing. Understanding how consumers interact with product packaging is critical to designing solutions to help some of the world’s best-known brands complete in today’s market. The Designer needed to create a space where solutions could be introduced to consumers and where interaction can be observed and measured. The space required flexibility, ease of use and reliability.

VisionPoint began the technology design process by conducting discussions with users and stakeholders to gain a complete understanding of all use cases and room configurations. With this knowledge, our technical services team developed a preliminary design and then worked collectively with the client’s team to develop and finalize the technology approach. Multiple cameras and microphones throughout the focus room support the flexibility required within the focus room itself. Multiple displays and an easy-to-use joystick controller provide people in the observation room with the ability to easily capture the consumer interaction needed to make their package design successful.
