Lonny’s interest in the audio-visual industry started in high school where he worked part-time in a speaker factory. Over the course of his career, Lonny has worked as a manufacturer developing products, run a Unified Communications group for a Fortune 50 organization, and taught design courses as an Adjunct Instructor for infoComm Academy (now AVIXA).

At VisionPoint Lonny’s department is responsible for designing AV and collaboration solutions as well as project and construction drawings. He employs a design approach for each project that incorporates professional AV standards while considering the challenges of VisionPoint’s portfolio of enterprise class organizations.

Lonny believes that successful system design must incorporate the challenges of those who use the technology. In his role he often interacts with executives, administrative staff, and support personal to understand their requirements as stakeholders.

Lonny’s interest, curiosity, and passion of technology drives his efforts for continuous improvement and learning. Outside of work he sits on a board of directors for a non-profit organization for children. The time he looks forward to the most is watching his daughter play volleyball for her high school team.
